That's such a sad story :(
What happened to Winter is indeed sad. But you have to admire the dolphin's ability to adapt and learn to swim in spite of the handicap. Plus, the idea of crafting a prosthetic tail is pretty cool.
And since it was a sad story, I added that youtube clip.
